Job summary

NEP Group is Australia’s leading provider of outsourced television production services, seeking a Security Engineer – NEP Platform to secure and optimize our hybrid infrastructure. You will implement SIEM, microsegmentation, access controls, and automate security across Kubernetes environments, aligning with global security policies.

The role collaborates with the IT Security team and the TSC SME group, driving platform reliability, governance, and secure workloads across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have platform security expertise in containerized environments.
• Experience in DevSecOps and SRE with real-time threat response.
• Hands-on with SIEM design and incident handling.
• Proficient in Kubernetes security patterns (RBAC, OPA, Kyverno).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SIEM solutions across platform infrastructure.
• Develop microsegmentation policies for workloads in Kubernetes and hybrid clouds.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows (Terraform).
• Automate vulnerability and compliance scanning for infrastructure.
• Lead remediation after security audits and penetration tests.
• Collaborate with IT Security and TSC SME to align with global policies.
