Job summary

HireCloud is seeking a Platform Engineer to own Azure cloud operations, CI/CD pipelines and platform delivery across APAC. You will engage with e-commerce, marketing, sales and finance stakeholders while collaborating with global technology leaders.

The role combines platform engineering, DevOps and cloud operations in a hybrid setup. Based in the South East with offshore development coordination, you will drive automation, reliability and delivery outcomes across the Azure stack and Shopify

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Operations.

The Opportunity

This is a unique role that combines Platform Engineering, DevOps, cloud operations and technical delivery.

Based in the South East, you will be the primary technology representative within the local business, supporting key stakeholders across e-commerce, marketing, sales and finance while partnering closely with global technology leaders.

You'll take ownership of platform operations across APAC, support cloud infrastructure and application deployments, coordinate offshore development resources and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure Cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Maintain and improve Azure DevOps pipelines, release processes and deployment automation
• Monitor platform performance, reliability and security
• Support Shopify-based ecommerce platforms and integrations
• Coordinate and help drive delivery outcomes with an offshore development team
• Act as the primary APAC contact for platform incidents and operational issues
• Drive automation, operational maturity and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and working across both technical and business stakeholders.

You'll ideally bring experience across:

• Azure infrastructure and cloud services
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Operations
• Incident management and production support
• Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF platforms
• Monitoring and observability tools
• Shopify or ecommerce environments (highly regarded)
• Working with offshore or distributed technology teams
