Job summary

Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) Brisbane is seeking an APS 6 Platform Administrator to join the Enterprise Platforms team. The role covers day-to-day admin and third-level support for on-premises and cloud services such as Microsoft Entra ID, AD, PIM, Exchange Online, M365 and Azure.

You will help implement changes, support ICT projects, and ensure security, patching and monitoring across cloud and on‑prem environments in line with ACSC guidance.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
• Pre-employment checks conducted as part of selection.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-level technical support for on-premises and cloud services including M365, Azure and related platforms.
• Implement changes and deliver project outcomes for enterprise platforms.
• Maintain security, patching, monitoring and configuration of Azure, M365 and SaaS solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for support teams.
• Assist with after-hours or on-call support and participate in travel if required.
