Job summary

AMS eGroup in Sydney, Australia seeks a Systems Administrator to install, configure, monitor, and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure and systems. You will manage servers, AD, cloud services, backups, and security to ensure reliability and business readiness.

Responsibilities include user support, incident resolution, changes, and ICT projects. A Bachelor’s degree in ICT and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT or related field.
• Experience with server administration, AD, cloud, and backups.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Security and data protection: apply patches, controls, and access policies.
• Support incident investigation and system recovery activities.
• Backup, recovery, and business continuity planning and testing.
• Technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure incidents.
• Liaise with vendors and ICT personnel to resolve issues.
