Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council is seeking a Plant Superintendent to lead the mechanical workshop, supervise a workshop team, and ensure efficient day-to-day servicing and repairs of trucks, cars and construction plant.

You will hold a Motor Mechanic or Plant Mechanic qualification with relevant licences and reporting experience, and you must be eligible to work in Australia. The role offers a full-time, four-day week, with salary negotiable commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Motor Mechanic or Plant Mechanic qualification.
• Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Council Trade Certificate.
• Vehicle Registration Certificate.
• Extensive experience with truck, car and construction plant repairs.
• Experience writing reports and supervising staff.
• Ability to work legally in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the mechanical workshop.
• Coordinate and supervise the workshop team and repairs.
• Ensure servicing of trucks, cars and construction plant is efficient and compliant.
