Job summary

Bland Shire Council is seeking a Rural Plant Operator to assist in maintaining and constructing the Council's infrastructure across roads, parks, reserves, and other assets in the region.

Ideal candidates hold a Heavy Rigid licence and a NSW White Card, with willingness to work across multiple sites and contribute to a family-based, community-focused team. In addition to a salary starting at the listed hourly rate, staff enjoy generous leave and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Heavy Rigid driver licence.
• Must possess NSW Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and construction of Council infrastructure including roads, parks, reserves, cemeteries and other assets.
• Support operational tasks across diverse sites as required by the Council.

We are currently seeking Rural Plant Operator to assist in the maintenance and construction of Councils infrastructure including but not limited to roads, parks, reserves, recreational area, cemeteries, sewerage works, landfills and other infrastructure assets.

What we are looking for in you:

• Current Driver Licence Class “Heavy Rigid”
• NSW Construction Induction Card (White Card)
