Job summary

Select Aust Sydney in Melbourne is seeking experienced Plant Operators for permanent, full-time roles across our quarry and asphalt sites. Earn $43.00 to $46.00/hr plus overtime, with clear pathways to permanent staff after your initial placement.

You'll safely operate Front-End Loaders or Excavators, perform stockpiling and loading, follow production schedules, and complete daily pre-start checks in a safety-first team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Front-End Loader (LL) or Excavator (LE) tickets or equivalent licences.
• Ability to follow daily production schedules, safety plans and machine operating procedures.
• Must pass pre-employment medical, silica test, drug & alcohol screen and police check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile plant equipment including Front-End Loaders, Excavators, and Haul Trucks.
• Perform material stockpiling, hopper feeding, and loading of construction, aggregate, and quarry materials.
• Follow daily site instructions, production schedules, and operational work plans.
• Collaborate with on-site transport crews, ground teams, and plant supervisors.
• Conduct mandatory daily pre-start inspections and maintain site safety standards.
