Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Plant Operator to support a landfill site. You will push and load waste and recyclables with a Front End Loader and Excavator, operate heavy machinery, and perform routine maintenance and safety checks. This full-time role offers stable shifts and potential for permanency.

You must have licences and hands-on experience with the listed equipment and be comfortable with repetitive tasks in a busy setting, ensuring safety and quality at all times.

About the roles:

• Day shifts: 6:00am – 2:00 or 3.00pm
• $45.45 - 51.15per hour plus OT and Super
• 5 shifts a week with possibility of permanency
• Must be available for full-time hours and Public Holiday work available.

What you will be required to do:

• As a Plant Operator, you will play an important role in supporting a landfill site: Push and load waste and recyclables or compact waste using Front end Loader and Excavator.
• Operate a Dozer, Excavator, Front-end loader and to load and haul daily material
• Maintenance and safety checks on all equipment
• Operate within a fast-paced environment
• Complete repetitive tasks and movements safely and efficiently
• Contribute to a team-focused workplace culture

To be successful in the role you will:

• Dozer, Front End Loader, Excavator, and skid steer, licences and experience
• Be comfortable with repetitive tasks in a busy environment
• Communicate effective with your team
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality
• Have full working rights in Australia (must be available for full-time hours)
• Have access to reliable transport and the ability to get to work
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
