Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet workshop in Seven Hills. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining and repairing Komatsu rental equipment to ensure it is ready for customer use.

You will perform fault finding, inspections, and document service and PM activities while supporting the movement of equipment through the rental lifecycle. A safe, quality-driven approach is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on workshop role working on Komatsu rental equipment.
• Role focuses on machine diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
• Responsible for keeping equipment in good working order for customer return.
• Involves fault finding, inspections, reporting and Rental lifecycle support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Komatsu rental equipment.
• Complete machine testing, adjustments and fault finding.
• Complete service, condition, warranty and PM documentation.
• Support machine inspections, stocktakes and the Rental-to-Used process.
• Work safely and maintain a high standard of quality and workmanship.
