Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet in Seven Hills, NSW. This hands-on workshop role involves diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on Komatsu rental equipment to keep machines in peak condition and ready for customers.

You will perform fault finding, testing and documentation, with a Monday–Friday roster from 7:30am to 3:36pm. The role requires a Mobile/Plant trade qualification, strong safety focus and good communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mobile / Plant Mechanic trade qualification.
• Previous experience working on mobile plant, heavy equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
• An open classification driver's licence.
• The ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Komatsu rental equipment.
• Complete machine testing, adjustments and fault finding.
• Complete service, condition, warranty and PM documentation.
• Support machine inspections, stocktakes and the Rental-to-Used process.
• Work safely and maintain a high standard of quality and workmanship.
