Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet team in Seven Hills, NSW. This hands-on workshop role focuses on diagnostics, maintenance and repairs of Komatsu rental equipment.

You will perform fault finding, testing and documentation, while supporting inspections, stocktakes and the rental-to-used process. A safety-focused, independant worker with strong communication is ideal.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mobile/Plant Mechanic trade qualification.
• Experience on mobile plant or heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills; safety focus.

We're looking for a Qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet team at Seven Hills as a Workshop Technician.

This is a hands-on workshop role working on Komatsu rental equipment, with a focus on machine diagnostics, maintenance and repairs. You'll be responsible for helping keep equipment in good working order and ready to return to our customers.

You’ll work across a range of equipment and tasks, from fault finding and repairs through to machine inspections, reporting and supporting the movement of equipment through the rental lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Komatsu rental equipment.
• Complete machine testing, adjustments and fault finding.
• Complete service, condition, warranty and PM documentation.
• Support machine inspections, stocktakes and the Rental-to-Used process.
• Work safely and maintain a high standard of quality and workmanship.

Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 3:36pm

Hourly Rate: $42.20 - $51.36 base p/h + super + allowances + overtime

Role Located: Seven Hills, NSW

What you'll bring

• Qualified Mobile / Plant Mechanic trade qualification.
• Previous experience working on mobile plant, heavy equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
• An open classification driver's licence.
• The ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.
