Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking a hands-on Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment across the Shire. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and ensure safety and reliability in line with manufacturer specs and council standards.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract, 38 hours per week with a rostered day off every 19 days, and a salary of AU$75,814.48–AU$88,108.49 plus 12% superannuation.

Qualificações

• Trade qualification and relevant licence in light vehicle/mechanical tech.
• Manual MR Driver Licence required, HR Licence preferred for heavies.
• TfNSW Safety Check qualification (ASCIS).
• White Card and First Aid certificate are required or obtainable.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, repair and service Council fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative/corrective maintenance.
• Ensure work complies with manufacturer specs and council standards.
• Contribute to reducing downtime and improving fleet reliability.
