Job summary

BPA Civil and Mining seeks an Experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team. With growth across Civil and Mining in the Northwest NSW region, this role offers a 7/7 lifestyle roster with 12-hour shifts and field support across multiple sites.

Must have relevant trade qualification, NSW Class Drivers Licence, and experience with Caterpillar equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and work safely both unsupervised and in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern earthmoving equipment and heavy vehicles.
• Trade qualification in plant/mechanic trades is required.
• NSW Class Drivers Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of earthmoving equipment and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on Caterpillar and other equipment.
• Work safely and efficiently in civil/mining field environments across the Northwest NSW region.
• Able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Support multiple projects across the Civil and Mining sectors in 2026.

BPA Civil and Mining is seeking an Experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team. With our recent growth and expansion, we require an experienced plant and truck mechanic to support multiple projects across the Civil and Mining industry within the Northwest Region of NSW in 2026

Position:

• Lifestyle roster7/7, 12 hours shifts.


• Civil and Mining field support

• NSW Class Drivers Licence (essential)


• Demonstrated experience with Caterpillar (preferable)
