Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to monitor fixed plant equipment from a central control room in a remote mining environment. The role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster (Day/Night/Weekend/Public holidays) with a 5/5/4 pattern and involves ensuring safety and production targets are met.
You will use SCADA/HMI systems, respond to issues, and engage with site personnel to optimise downtime and output while maintaining a strong safety culture against fatigue policies.

Controller.
This role is supporting a 24/7 operation, and the successful candidate will be required to work a
rotating roster including Day, Night, Weekend and Public holiday work, with the roster patterns
as follows:
5/5/4 - 5 days on, 5 days off, 4 nights on, 5 days off, 2 days/3nights, 4 days off.
Your task is to control and monitor fixed plant equipment in a remote mining environment from a
central control room.
