Job summary

Council of the City of Ryde is seeking a customer-focused Planning Support Officer to join our Development Advisory and Insights team. You will provide technical and administrative support for the NSW Planning Portal and related planning processes.

You will assist customers, consultants and internal stakeholders, manage planning-related records and documentation, and help ensure applications and inquiries are handled accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning administration or development services.
• Experience in local government or government administration.
• Experience managing customer enquiries and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support for the NSW Planning Portal and related planning processes.
• Assist customers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Manage planning-related records and documentation.
• Process invoices and purchase orders.
