Job summary

Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a Planning and Building Support Officer to join our City Development team. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support across Council's Statutory Planning, Building, Enforcement and Subdivision services, helping to deliver efficient processes and positive outcomes for our customers.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Business Administration or Local Government experience in planning/building/admin is valued.
• Knowledge of Pathway and TRIM software is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support across Planning, Building, Enforcement and Subdivision services.
• Process applications, licences and documents in line with procedures.
• Manage high-volume data tasks with accuracy and data integrity.
• Prepare reports, agendas and minutes for departmental needs.
• Respond to customer enquiries and assist users with online services.
• Maintain records, calendars, invoicing and filing workflows.
