Job summary

NewCold is expanding its logistics team and seeks a proactive planner to schedule orders and coordinate with clients and haulers. You will use the warehouse management system to issue orders to forklift drivers and pickers, and monitor daily activities for timely completion.

The role requires strong mathematical skills, experience with WMS, and solid communication with internal teams and external partners. A valid driver’s license is also beneficial for on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders using the warehouse management system and coordinate with the assistant planner

• Maintain daily contact with clients/haulers about progress and issues
• Identify anomalies and inform the site manager with proposed measures
• Process administrative information related to logistics activities

About the vacancy

• Scheduling orders using the warehouse management system, consultation with the assistant planner in accordance with agreements with clients and haulers.
• Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers.
• Monitoring the schedule and adjusting to suit requirements if necessary.
• Maintaining daily contact with clients and haulers or their representatives on progress, priorities, anomalies and problems.
• Identifying anomalies and problems, informing the site manager, agreeing on measures to be taken.
• Processing the administrative information relating to the logistical activities.
• Broad knowledge of the use of the applied planning system
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
• Knowledge of the logistical process.
• Good Mathematical skills.
• Experienced user of computer and software.
• Drivers license.
