Job summary

NewCold is expanding its teams in Australia to support growth in cold chain logistics. As a Scheduling Planner, you will issue process orders, schedule with WMS, and maintain daily contact with clients and haulers to ensure on-time deliveries.

You should have strong math skills, experience with planning systems, and a valid driver's license. The role offers opportunities within an international, innovative cold storage provider.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders using the warehouse management system.

• Maintain daily contact with clients and haulers about progress, priorities, anomalies, and problems.
• Identify anomalies and inform site manager; agree on corrective action.

About the vacancy

• Scheduling orders using the warehouse management system, consultation with the assistant planner in accordance with agreements with clients and haulers.
• Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers.
• Monitoring the schedule and adjusting to suit requirements if necessary.
• Maintaining daily contact with clients and haulers or their representatives on progress, priorities, anomalies and problems.
• Identifying anomalies and problems, informing the site manager, agreeing on measures to be taken.
• Processing the administrative information relating to the logistical activities.
• Broad knowledge of the use of the applied planning system
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
• Knowledge of the logistical process.
• Good Mathematical skills.
• Experienced user of computer and software.
• Drivers license.
