Job summary

NewCold, a fast-growing cold chain logistics provider, seeks a skilled logistics planner to schedule orders in the warehouse management system, coordinate with the assistant planner and drivers, and monitor the daily schedule.

You will maintain daily contact with clients and haulers, identify issues, and help implement improvements while leveraging your knowledge of WMS, data analysis, and IT tools to support efficient operations across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Experienced user of computer and software.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders using the warehouse management system.
• Consult with the assistant planner according to client/hauler agreements.
• Issue process orders to forklift drivers and pickers.
• Monitor the schedule and adjust as needed.
• Maintain daily contact with clients and haulers on progress and issues.
• Identify anomalies and inform site manager, and agree on corrective actions.
• Handle administrative information related to logistics activities.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of the planning system and logistics process.

About the vacancy

• Schedulingorders using the warehouse management system, consultation with the assistantplanner in accordance with agreements with clients and haulers.
• Issuing process orders to forklift truck drivers and pickers.
• Monitoring the schedule and adjusting to suit requirements ifnecessary.
• Maintaining daily contact with clients and haulers or theirrepresentatives on progress, priorities, anomalies and problems.
• Identifying anomalies and problems, informing the sitemanager, agreeing on measures to be taken.
• Processing the administrative information relating to thelogistical activities.
• Broadknowledge of the use of the applied planning system
• Continuous improvement knowledge.
• Knowledge of WarehouseManagement System.
