Job summary

Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) in Brisbane is seeking a detail‑oriented project support professional to join the Post Approval team, coordinating plan sealing applications and helping deliver development outcomes across Queensland.

You will assess and administer applications, maintain records in DASH, coordinate documentation and assist with meetings, while building productive relationships with councils, developers and internal teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in project support, planning, development assessment, local government, surveying or a similar administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures while exercising sound judgement.
• A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and administer plan sealing applications, ensuring compliance with approval conditions, legislation and established timeframes.
• Coordinate project documentation, reports, briefings and workflow records to support the successful delivery of development projects.
• Maintain accurate records within EDQ's workflow management system (DASH), tracking key milestones and application progress.
• Build positive relationships with internal teams, councils, developers and other stakeholders throughout the plan sealing process.
• Assist with meeting coordination, minute taking and management of shared team inboxes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support broader project activities across the Post Approval team.
