Job summary

Economic Development Queensland seeks a detail-oriented project support professional to administer plan sealing applications and help deliver housing and infrastructure outcomes across Queensland. You will manage documentation, maintain records in the DASH system, and coordinate with councils, developers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes structured work practices, legislative interpretation, and collaboration across the Post Approval team.

Qualifications

• Experience in project support, planning, development assessment, local government, surveying or a similar administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret legislation, policies and procedures with sound judgement.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with workflow systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and administer plan sealing applications, ensuring compliance with approval conditions and timeframes.
• Coordinate project documentation, reports, briefings and workflow records.
• Maintain accurate records within the DASH workflow system and track milestones.
• Build relationships with internal teams, councils, developers and stakeholders.
• Assist with meeting coordination, minute taking and inbox management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Post Approval team.
