Job summary

Development Objective Pty Ltd is seeking a Planning/ Project Management professional to join their growing team on the Gold Coast. You will work across development and infrastructure projects, preparing MCU/ROL applications and coordinating reports with multidisciplinary teams.

You will provide planning input across strategies, infrastructure, and housing studies, while managing timelines, budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in town planning, development assessment, project management, engineering or construction.
• Experience preparing MCU, ROL, planning reports and development documentation.
• Understanding of Queensland planning legislation and local government processes.
• Strong communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to MCU, ROL and other development applications.
• Provide planning and project management input into strategies and studies.
• Prepare and coordinate planning documentation, reports and client materials.
• Provide high‑quality planning advice informed by policy and legislation.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities and stakeholders.
• Assist with development approvals and project coordination through lifecycle.
• Identify risks and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
• Manage timeframes and client expectations; contribute to tenders and proposals.
