Job summary

Montessori Academy is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our team in Sydney. You will work as part of a collaborative group delivering high-quality education and care in line with our Montessori approach.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRT025).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• develop strong relationships with children at the service
• develop the Children's Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines)
• ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children
• implement the service’s philosophy in undertaking all other duties
• liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings
• maintain observations and records of individual children's progress

Education

Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

ACECQA equivalent

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Role

The roles require experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care. You will be expected to:
