Job summary

Montessori Academy in Engadine is seeking a Room Assistant CIII to join our team and support high-quality early childhood education for children under six. You will work as an active member of staff to deliver engaging programs under EYLF guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Child Protection Certificate or willing to obtain one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children at the service.
• Develop the Children's Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines).
• Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children.
• Implement the service’s philosophy in undertaking all other duties.
• Liaise with families regarding the day to day happenings.
• Maintain observations and records of individual children's progress.

The Role

The roles require experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care. You will be expected to:
