Job summary

Montessori Academy in Australia seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to support health and safety of children and assist with daily routines. You will contribute to a nurturing, structured environment across interactive classrooms.

Applicants must hold a Police Check, Working with Children Check, CHCPRT025 or willingness, Food Handling and First Aid certificates, and an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, with a solid understanding of NQF standards.

Qualifications

• Police Check must be valid within the last 12 months.
• Working with Children Check must be current and paid.
• Certificate CHCPRT025 or willingness to obtain.
• Food Handling and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or actively studying.
• Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including National Regulations, NQS and EYLF.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of all enrolled children at the service at all times.
• Maintain quality supervision of all enrolled children at the service at all times.
• Assist with the implementation of daily routines.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Nominated Supervisor.

Education
