Job summary

Montessori Academy Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to support health, safety, and daily routines for children under six. You will help implement engaging activities in a nurturing Montessori environment.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and possess current checks (Police, WWC) and first aid. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team and have opportunities for permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Police Check (valid within the last 12 months).
• Working with Children Check (paid, current).
• CHCPRT025 Child Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or actively studying towards qualification).
• Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF): National Regulations, NQS, EYLF.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health safety of all enrolled children at the service at all times
• Maintain quality supervision of all enrolled children at the service at all times
• Assist with the implementation of daily routines
• Perform other duties as requested by the Nominated Supervisor
