Job summary

Montessori Academy Brisbane is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to ensure the health and safety of all enrolled children and to supervise daily routines within our Montessori service.

Ideal candidates will hold or be actively pursuing ACECQA-approved qualifications (Certificate III or Diploma), current Police and Working with Children Checks, and a willingness to obtain CHCPRT025, Food Handling, and First Aid certificates as required.

Qualifications

• Police Check valid within the last 12 months.
• Working with Children Check current.
• CHCPRT025 certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or actively studying.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF): National Regulations, NQS, EYLF.

• Assist with the implementation of daily routines.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Nominated Supervisor.

The Role

About You

• Police Check(valid within the last 12 months)
• Working with Children Check(paid, current)
• Child Protection Certificate- CHCPRT025(or willingness to obtain one)
• Food Handling Certificate(or willingness to obtain one)
• First Aid Certificate(or willingness to obtain one)
• ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education(or actively studying towards qualification)
• Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including:
  • National Regulations
  • National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
