Job summary

Pizza Rocco in Sydney's Moorebank facility is seeking a hands-on production worker to support our handcrafted pizza base production. You will hand-stretch dough, roll and portion dough, and operate dough mixers to maintain speed and quality.

We value reliability, cleanliness, and the ability to work in a small team. Monday-Thursday shifts offer 38 hours, with weekends off, and on-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience hand-stretching pizza dough is essential.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a production environment.
• Confident handling, rolling and shaping pizza dough.
• Ability to maintain consistent quality while working at speed.
• Must hold a valid driver's licence and have reliable transport.

Job description

This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role. You must already know how to work with pizza dough, confidently hand-stretch pizza bases, and maintain speed and consistency throughout production.

Key responsibilities

Hand-stretching pizza dough quickly and consistently

Rolling, portioning and preparing dough balls

Operating dough mixers and dough production equipment

Preparing and mixing pizza sauce according to recipes

Producing pizza bases to consistent sizes and quality standards

Following dough fermentation and production procedures

Packing and preparing finished products for distribution

Cleaning and maintaining equipment and workstations

Assisting with general factory production duties

About you

Previous experience hand-stretching pizza dough is essential

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a production environment

Confident handling, rolling and shaping pizza dough

Ability to maintain consistent quality while working at speed

Reliable, punctual and physically capable of hands-on factory work

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Must hold a valid driver's licence and have reliable transport

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Experience in a pizzeria, bakery or pizza production facility will be highly regarded

Pizza Rocco is an established Sydney business specialising in handcrafted pizza bases, dough products and mobile woodfired pizza catering. Our Moorebank production facility supplies wholesale customers, and we are expanding our manufacturing operations.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am-5:30 pm

38 paid hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day

Friday, Saturday and Sunday off

On-site staff parking available
