Job summary

Benetti's Italian at The Brighton Hotel Sydney is seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to a high standard, and work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong pizza preparation and cooking skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to menu specifications and recipes.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces and toppings.
• Monitor cooking times and ensure pizzas are consistently cooked to a high standard.
• Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage of ingredients.
• Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Follow workplace health and safety and food safety procedures.
