Job summary

Halfday Deli in Wollongong is seeking an experienced, passionate kitchen professional to join our in-house team. We bake almost everything in-house, including focaccia and pizza dough, and operate 38 hours across five days with a Sunday/Monday weekend.

You will work under our head chefs, bringing strong baking skills and the stamina to thrive in a fast pace environment. If you have references and a positive attitude towards hospitality, we want to meet you.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience with pizza dough is required.
• Ability to uphold high kitchen standards.
• Willingness to follow the lead of head chefs.
• Experience in a high-flow, high-pace setting.

Job description

5 days with a Sunday/Monday weekend - 38hours a week.

Must haves:

• Previous experience with baking, especially pizza dough (absolute non-negotiable)
• The skills and attitudes to uphold our high standards
• Willingness to work under the lead of our head chefs
• Previous work in a high flow, high pace setting
