Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience required.
• Experience as a Pizza Chef, Pizzaiolo, or similar role preparing and cooking pizzas in a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and pizza oven operations is highly regarded.
• Must be able to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of your designated pizza section to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to high quality, presentation, and taste.
• Contribute to menu innovation and daily specials as appropriate.
• Adhere to health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency during busy service periods.
• Assist with dough preparation, ingredient portioning, stock rotation, and workstation cleanliness.
• Foster collaboration between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
