GR Engineering Services Limited is seeking an experienced Piping Coordinator to join our team at the Ascot Head Office, Perth, WA. The role involves coordinating piping activities from design through construction on mining and mineral processing projects, with occasional site visits across Australia.

You will collaborate with engineering and construction teams, manage interfaces, and ensure safety, quality and schedule objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Piping trade background and previous supervisory experience.
• Experience delivering piping projects within mining or mineral processing environments.
• Strong knowledge of HDPE and steel piping systems, valves and associated components.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of current piping design and installation standards.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and project coordination capabilities.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivatedPiping Coordinatorto join our team based in our Ascot Head Office, reporting to the Manager of Projects.

This role is primarily based in the company’s Perth office and will require periodical visits and travel to various projects within Australia.

Working within a collaborative Team you will support a range of diverse projects, participating in the day to day organising and management of electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring piping construction activities and project progress
• Reviewing project scope, piping specifications and schedules

• Material take-offs and bulk procurement management
• Monitoring project manpower, equipment and material requirements
• Ensuring project compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards

• Tracking and reporting project performance against cost, schedule and quality objectives

About You

• Piping trade background and previous supervisory experience is highly regarded
• Experience delivering piping projects within mining or mineral processing environments
• Strong knowledge of HDPE and steel piping systems, valves and associated components
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics and general arrangement drawings
• Knowledge of current piping design and installation standards
• Demonstrated problem-solving and project coordination capabilities
• Current Drivers Licence
• Current National Police clearance within 3 months
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen
