Job summary

Wood is seeking experienced Pipefitters for the Brisbane-based mid-year shutdown at the Ampol Lytton Refinery. The role is short-term, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks, with strong EBA benefits and penalty rates. Local applicants preferred, but those with the right skills from outside Southeast Queensland may be considered.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia. Responsibilities include safety-focused work, teamwork, and autonomous ownership of tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have pipe fitting experience in heavy industry.
• Must be able to read isometric drawings.
• Trade qualified for pipe fitting with at least 5 years in heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Strong focus on safety in all tasks.
• Able to work in a team while maintaining autonomy when required.
• Take ownership of assigned pipefitting work during the shutdown.
