WOOD plc is seeking experienced Welders for a mid-year FCCU shutdown at a Brisbane-based site. The role runs from the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks, with strong EBA benefits and penalties. Local applicants preferred, but those with the right skillset and work rights in Australia will be considered.

Applicants must have full work rights and be prepared to pass a Wood medical, with tickets in order and driver’s licence. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in this short-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Welding tickets 4, 5 and 7 are desirable.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, chromoly pipe welding.
• Proven maintenance experience in heavy industry and shutdown/T&I context.
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets valid for 3 years.
