Job summary

Wood Group seeks experienced E&I Supervisors for a Brisbane-based shutdown at the Ampol Lytton Refinery. The role starts early May for about 12–14 weeks, leading a fast-paced supervisory team and safely executing planned shutdown activities.

Applicants based in Southeast Queensland are preferred, with travel and lodging arrangements provided where applicable. Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA will be considered.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate and QLD electrical licence essential.
• Dual trade qualification with Cert III Electrical and Cert III Instrument & Control.
• Cert IV in Electrical – Instrumentation considered.
• EEHA certification required; LVR/CPR current to mid-August 2026.
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and High-risk EWP desirable.
• Pre-employment medical check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute planned shutdown activities safely.
• Coordinate resources to deliver quality work on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work, SWMS and risk controls.
• Interface with clients, supervisors and E&I teams on site.
• Record incidents and participate in investigations and lessons learned.
• Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe acts and promote safety culture.
