Job summary

SRG Global is seeking qualified and experienced Pipefitters for immediate work at our new workshop in Wattleup, WA. This casual role offers 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, with home every night and overtime opportunities.

Join a growing team delivering fabrication projects in a well-equipped workshop, with consistent hours and the potential for ongoing work. Applicants must hold a recognised pipefitting certificate and relevant safety memberships, and be prepared for pre-employment medicals.

Qualifications

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and specifications.
  • Measuring, marking, cutting, beveling, and preparing pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Fabricating pipe spools and assemblies to precise dimensions.
  • Fitting and aligning pipes, valves, flanges, and fittings before welding.
  • Performing tack welding if qualified or working closely with welders.
  • Using equipment such as band saws, pipe threaders, grinders, hydraulic benders, and lifting equipment.
  • Checking dimensions and quality to ensure assemblies meet project specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized workshop and following workplace health and safety procedures.

The successful applicant will have:
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate or Certificate 3 in Pipefitting
  • Working Safely at Heights (Completed within 2 years)
  • Confined Space Entry (Completed within 2 years)
  • High Risk Work Licence (WP desirable)
  • Hold a valid driving license
  • Pass a pre-employment medical
  • Previous experience in a similar role
