Job summary

Duratec is seeking site-based BMWs, Pipe and Mechanical Fitters for upcoming projects across WA and NT. Immediate start available with a great roster and potential for ongoing career opportunities.

You will maintain and repair mechanical equipment onsite, including fixed plant, turbines, valves and pumps, with fault finding and safety a priority. Experience in Oil & Gas or LNG is highly desirable, and current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification relevant to maintenance.
• Strong maintenance background.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG desirable.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in rostered maintenance team.
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment onsite including Fixed Plant / Turbines / Valve & Pump Overhauls / Machining / Hydraulics / Rotating Equipment
• Fault finding and troubleshooting across plant systems
• Working safely within O&G processing environments
• Supporting shutdowns and preventative/corrective maintenance activities
• Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and standards

About You

• Relevant Trade qualification
• A strong maintenance background
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG - (highly desirable)
• A heavy commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
• The ability to work effectively within a rostered maintenance team
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (issued within the last 2 years)
