Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an experienced Picker / Forklift Operator / Warehouse Administrator for a steel manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD. The role combines pick/pack duties, forklift operation, stock-taking, and light customer service within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shifts run 6:00AM–2:00PM or 10:00AM–6:00PM with a pay rate of $37.35 per hour plus super. You will use RF scanners and a WMS, contribute to stock control, and support warehouse teams while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Forklift licence (High Risk Licence) essential.
• Experience using RF scanners and WMS systems.
• Stock counting and cycle counting experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and packing customer orders.
• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.

Labourforce is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Picker / Forklift Operator / Warehouse Administrator to join a well-established and industry-leading steel manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is confident operating forklifts, completing inventory tasks, and assisting with customer interactions.

Shift Times

• 6:00AM – 2:00PM
• 10:00AM – 6:00PM

Pay Rate

$37.35 per hour + Super

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately picking and packing customer orders
• Loading and unloading trucks, supplier deliveries, and customer collections
• Conducting cyclic stock counts and stocktake activities
• Using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Assisting customers with Order Pick-Ups (OPU) and general customer service support
• Supporting warehouse and sheds teams when required
• Performing floor searches and site sweeps
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards (5S)
• Following all WH&S procedures and PPE requirements
• Completing general administration and computer-based tasks

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment
• Current Forklift Licence (High Risk Licence – Essential)
• Experience operating forklifts and side loaders
• RF scanning experience
• Cycle counting / stocktake experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer and administration experience
• Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset
