Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join a busy transport and warehouse operation based in Hillcrest, QLD. This hands-on role requires confident forklift operation, yard work, and general cleaning and housekeeping duties.

You will load and unload trucks, stock, maintain the yard, and keep sheds and storage areas clean and safe. Shift is Mon-Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm, paying $36.78 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence required.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience operating high-reach forklifts.
• Previous warehouse, transport or yard experience.
• Able to perform cleaning and yard maintenance.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
• Relocating stock using a high-reach forklift.
• Maintaining and tidying the yard and surrounding work areas.
• Cleaning and keeping sheds and storage areas organised.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, putting away stock, maintaining the yard, and keeping sheds and storage areas clean, organised, and safe.

Warehouse / Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift
• Putting away and relocating stock using a high-reach forklift
• Maintaining and tidying the yard and surrounding work areas
• Cleaning and keeping sheds and storage areas organised
• Blowing out sheds, storage areas, and general work areas
• General yard maintenance and housekeeping
• Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and yard
• Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and free from hazards
• Assisting with general warehouse duties and manual handling as required
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements

• Current Forklift (LF) Licence – Essential
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts
• Experience operating a high-reach forklift
• Previous warehouse, transport, or yard experience
• Comfortable performing general cleaning and yard maintenance duties
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
