Job summary

Tailored Workforce Pty is recruiting experienced Forklift Operators for a busy distribution centre in Newstead, Queensland. Roles include High Reach, Counterbalance, LO Order Picker, Warehouse Store persons, Dispatch and Receiving Operators, with a focus on safety, accuracy and productivity.

Requirements include a current Australian LF forklift licence (LO an advantage) and proven forklift experience in a warehouse.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Australian LF forklift licence and preferably LO licence.
• Experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts safely.
• Load/unload trailers and delivery vehicles; replenish stock.
• Accurate order picking using RF scanners and WMS.
• Receive inbound freight and perform cycle counts and stock control.
• Prepare pallets for dispatch and maintain inventory accuracy.

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for stable, ongoing work with a leading national distribution operation?

We are currently recruiting multiple experienced Forklift Operators and Warehouse Store persons to join a busy, fast-paced Distribution Centre located in Newstead, Queensland. These positions play a critical role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, replenished, and dispatched to retail locations across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a high-volume warehouse environment where safety, accuracy, teamwork and productivity are essential.

High Reach Forklift Operators

Counterbalance Forklift Operators

LO Order Picker Operators

Warehouse Store persons with Forklift Experience

Dispatch and Receiving Operators

Both experienced operators and warehouse professionals looking to further develop their careers within logistics and supply chain are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Distribution Centre team, your duties may include:

Operating High Reach, Counterbalance

Loading and unloading trailers and delivery vehicles

Put-away and replenishment of stock throughout the warehouse

Accurate order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Picking cartons and palletised stock for store replenishment

Receiving inbound freight and verifying inventory

Cycle counts and stock control activities

Pallet wrapping and preparation of goods for dispatch

Maintaining inventory accuracy and location control

Working within strict productivity and KPI targets

Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Ensuring warehouse housekeeping standards are maintained

Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

To be considered for these positions, applicants must:

Hold a current Australian LF Forklift Licence

Have previous forklift operating experience within a warehouse or distribution environment

Be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties

Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy

Have reliable transport and a strong work ethic

Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

Be able to work effectively in a team environment

Have full working rights within Australia

Mandatory Compliance Requirements

Due to the nature of the products handled within this distribution environment, applicants must be able to provide:

Clear National Police Check & Licensing

A current National Police Check showing no disclosable court outcomes is mandatory. Current Forklift Licence

Applicants must hold one of the following:

Both LF and LO licences will be highly regarded

References

Reference must be able to verify forklift and warehouse experience

Right to Work Documentation

Applicants must provide evidence of unrestricted Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded Experience

Successful candidates will ideally possess experience in:

Retail supply chain operations

Pharmaceutical, FMCG or logistics environments

High Reach Forklift operation up to multiple racking levels

LO Order Picker operation

RF scanning and warehouse management systems

Inventory control and stock replenishment

Palletising and dispatch functions

Fast-paced picking environments
