Job summary

Anglican Community Services – Carlingford NSW is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join the Anglicare Health Centre team at Carlingford House. This is a permanent, part-time role based in Anglicare Carlingford House with a 30-hour week coverage.

You will assist with delivering individual and group treatments, prepare treatment areas, and help with administration and ensuring equipment is well maintained. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and experience in physiotherapy are required,

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
• A passion for aged care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care.
• Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person's presentation.
• Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments.
• Ensures that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
• Assisting with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool.
