Job summary

Anglican Community Services is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join Anglicare Health Centre team in Roden Cutler Lodge, Gordon. This is a Permanent Part-time role (up to 12 hours per week) in Gordon, NSW, with responsibilities in assisting physiotherapists and supporting patient care.

You will work closely with a team, help deliver individual and group treatments, prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment, and assist with administration and hydrotherapy pool duties, while gaining experience

Qualifications

• Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
• A passion for aged care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care.
• Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person`s presentation.
• Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments.
• Ensures that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
• Assisting with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool

We are looking for a Physiotherapy Aide who is passionate about enhancing the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting change and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.
