Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team at Anglicare Carlingford House in Sydney. This permanent part-time role offers 30 hours per week, supporting physiotherapists and delivering individual and group treatments under supervision.

You will help prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment and assist with administration and reception duties. The position is ideal for someone with Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and a genuine passion

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
• Passion for aged care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist if there is a change to a person’s presentation.
• Assist with efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by preparing treatment areas and assisting with transporting clients when needed.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained and available by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
• Assist with administration, cover Reception as required, and help maintain the hydrotherapy pool.

Anglicare is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team in Anglicare Carlingford House.

We are looking for a Physiotherapy Aide who is passionate about enhancing the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting change and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.

This is a Permanent parttime role based in Anglicare Carlingford House. We are looking at a coverage of 30 hrs a week.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care
• You will assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person`s presentation
• Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments
• Ensures that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines
• Assisting with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool

About you:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Experience in physiotherapy assistance
• A passion for Aged Care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.
