Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Physiotherapy Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team at Anglicare Carlingford House in Sydney. The role focuses on enhancing clients’ mobility and quality of life by following individualized routines and supporting physiotherapy services.

This is a permanent part-time position based in Anglicare Carlingford House, offering a 30-hour weekly coverage. You will work closely with physiotherapists to deliver treatments, document changes, and support the team while

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in physiotherapy assistance is preferred.
• A passion for Aged Care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work closely in a team environment, delivering best care and sharing knowledge.
• Assist with delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist and document appropriately.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with delivering clients to treatment areas as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and available by planning maintenance routines.
• Assist with administration, cover reception as required, and help maintain the hydrotherapy pool.

Anglicare is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team in Anglicare Carlingford House.

We are looking for a Physiotherapy Aide who is passionate about enhancing the physical mobility and quality of life of our clients by following individual routines, reporting change and supporting the provision of physiotherapy.

This is a Permanent parttime role based in Anglicare Carlingford House. We are looking at a coverage of 30 hrs a week.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care
• You will assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person`s presentation
• Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments
• Ensures that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines
• Assisting with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool

About you:
