Job summary

Anglicare is seeking a Physiotherapist Aide to join our Anglicare Health Centre team in Anglicare Carlingford House. This Permanent part-time role is based at Anglicare Carlingford House with a 30 hours per week coverage.

You will assist with delivering individualized and group treatments under the physiotherapist's direction, help prepare treatment areas, and maintain equipment. A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is required, plus experience in physiotherapy assistance and a

Qualifications

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
A passion for Aged Care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.

Responsibilities

Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately with team members to deliver best care.
Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, document accordingly, deferring to the physiotherapist should there be change to a person`s presentation.
Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared, and in some cases clients are delivered to treatment areas in preparation for their physiotherapy treatments.
Ensure that the equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
Assist with administration, covering Reception as required, assisting with maintaining hydrotherapy pool.
