Job summary

Serco is seeking a physiotherapist to join its FIFO contract healthcare team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to Australian Defence Force personnel. You will travel to Defence Health Centre sites across Australia, working within a multidisciplinary team to support on-base clinical care.

The role offers flexible scheduling with contracts from 1 week to 3 months, comprehensive training, and travel logistics provided by Serco.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years.
• Current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
• Recent continuing professional development activities aligned with AHPRA guidelines.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate (HLTAID009).
• Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association preferred.
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services as part of a multi-disciplinary health team.
• Deliver on-site physiotherapy care to Defence personnel across FIFO locations.
• Contribute to patient care plans and maintain thorough clinical documentation.
