Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Williamtown Health Centre team, delivering high-quality care to Australian Defence Force personnel in a civilian role. You will work within a multidisciplinary clinic that supports physical readiness, rehabilitation, and ABF health services, with structured hours and no late nights.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years.
• Current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
• CPR certificate HLTAID009.
• CPD activities aligned with AHPRA guidelines.
• Australian Citizenship for Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services.
• Work with musculoskeletal injuries focusing on functional rehabilitation and return to work/exercise goals.
• Coordinate patient administration, records, and clinic operations.
• Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Defence policies and confidentiality.

About The Williamtown Health Centre

Located 30km north of Newcastle at RAAF Base Williamtown, Australia's premier fighter pilot training base. The base is one of the busiest in NSW, employing over 4500 people. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday - Friday.

What You'll do

• Provide a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services
• Work with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on functional rehabilitation and returning members to their work and exercise goals.
• Coordinate patient administration, records, and clinic operations
• Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with Defence policies, procedures, and confidentiality standardsShape

What You Bring

• At least 2 years' part-time or full-time equivalent post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years
• A current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
• Recent engagement in Continuing Professional Development activities aligned with AHPRA guidelines
• A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)
• Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (preferred)
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
