Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team across Residential Aged Care and Community settings. You will deliver mobility and functional programs, assess residents, and help implement personalised care plans.

You will work within a supportive organisation, with mentorship, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional development. Mandarin/Cantonese skills are a plus, and sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA is required.
• Police Check or willingness to obtain is required.
• Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Willingness to work in a mobile capacity within a dedicated region.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights are required.

Plena Healthcare is a national allied health provider delivering services across Residential and Community Aged Care, with over 20 years’ experience. Our multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, and Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) is passionate about improving client outcomes.

This Physiotherapist role focuses on Residential Aged Care, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, evidence-based therapy programs, including mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one interventions, and group-based active ageing services.

Plena is excited to be continuing to grow in the community aged care space and is glad to offer a diverse role that allows clinicians to work across RAC and Community settings.

About you:

You are a passionate Physiotherapist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a person-centred approach and the ability to apply clinical reasoning to support residents to achieve their mobility, functional and wellbeing goals. You build trusted relationships with residents, families, facility staff and colleagues, and are confident working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You understand the important role you play as a key representative of Plena Healthcare within residential aged care and the wider community. Mandarin or Cantonese language skills highly desirable.
