BlueCare on the Gold Coast is seeking a Physiotherapist to support community-based and aged care clients. You will develop and implement treatment plans, assess needs, and coordinate with GPs, nurses, and occupational therapists to improve function and independence.

Essential qualifications include AHPRA registration, a driver’s license, and experience in aged care or community settings. The role offers permanent full-time or part-time terms with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Physiotherapist | Blue Care | Gold Coast Allied Health | Community Based

Employment Term: Permanent Full Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days per week) Monday to Friday

Location: Servicing clients across the Gold Coast outreaching from sites at Coomera - Arundel - Elanora

Remuneration: $42.15 to $59.04 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Classification: PO2.1 to PO3.3 - determined by demonstrated experience

You’ll have the opportunity to develop treatment programs, helping clients and residents to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:

• Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
• Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Education and training on aspects of therapy for carers, clients and residents
• Goal setting activities, as well reablement and discharge planning
• Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are coordinated and monitored

You’ll be self‑motivated and driven to incorporate contemporary theory in your day‑to‑day activities and make a real difference to the lives of our clients and residents! You’ll present with:

• Tertiary Qualifications and full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community setting
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
