Job summary

Blue Care, a part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Physiotherapist to support community-based care in Carina across Wynnum, Carina, Wacol and surrounding areas. This permanent role offers Full Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days per week), with a remuneration range of $42.15 to $53.96 per hour plus super, Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging, penalties and allowances.

Physiotherapist | Blue Care | Carina Allied Health | Community Based

• Employment Term: Permanent Full Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days per week) Monday to Friday
• Location: Servicing areas of Wynnum - Carina - Wacol and surrounding regions
• Remuneration: $42.15 to $53.96 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
• Classification: PO2.1 to PO3.1 - determined by demonstrated experience

You'll Have The Opportunity To Develop Treatment Programs, Helping Clients And Residents To Manage Their Movement, Pain, Balance And Manual Handling. This Will Include

• Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
• Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive technology
• Education and training on aspects of therapy for carers, clients and residents

• Tertiary Qualifications and full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community setting
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
